REFUND POLICY
The payment provider determines the refund path.
Compass sells non-renewing fixed-duration access. This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer right.
Version 2026.1 · Effective 2026-07-19
What this policy covers
The 30-day, 90-day, and 365-day passes do not renew. A refund does not erase progress, but refunded or reversed access may be revoked. No refund can guarantee an exam, admission, employment, or immigration result.
Stripe web purchases
Compass is responsible for support and refund decisions for a purchase processed by Stripe. Contact supportUrl with the account email and receipt reference. Duplicate, unauthorized, technically unusable, or legally refundable purchases will be investigated. Unless law requires otherwise, unused time alone does not guarantee a full or prorated refund after access has begun.
Apple and Google Play purchases
Apple is responsible for refund requests and decisions for App Store purchases. Google Play is responsible for refund requests and decisions within its applicable flow; Compass provides support where the store directs the developer to act. Request the refund through Apple or Google Play using the store receipt, then contact supportUrl if technical evidence is needed.
Taxes and access after refund
Refunded tax follows the processor and applicable tax rules. When Stripe, Apple, or Google Play confirms a refund, reversal, or chargeback, related paid access may end. Learner progress remains available under the free tier unless the account is deleted.
Processing and disputes
Processor timelines and bank posting times vary. Before opening a chargeback, contact supportUrl so duplicate charges or service failures can be reviewed. Nothing here removes a right to dispute an unauthorized charge.
Current policy
Use refundsUrl for this policy, termsUrl for purchase terms, and supportUrl for assistance. Final support and policy URLs must be configured before public activation.
